It’s not often that I find myself covered in clay dust. However, it’s safe to say I am thoroughly enjoying this muddy/dusty process!

Here’s a life-size clay torso in progress! One of my favorite contemporary artists, Jenny Saville, bases her massive-scaled paintings on a modernized perspective of a woman’s body. I have been working hard at creating a sculpture about the daily struggles a woman may face with body image when trying on new clothing items. My hope is that this sculpture tells everyone their own story based on their own experiences.
